Premier Inn Oxford South Didcot hotel

We had an accessible room, it was spacious and clean. A few hidden cobwebs, but you'd only notice them if you work in this field, which I do. Also a super king bed, very comfortable, with king size sheets, all very clean though. The staff were lovely, the parking was plentiful and it's very well placed. All in all, excellent.

It's cleaner than most. Very well organised. The staff are great. Ire calmer than other Premier Inns. Wheelchair accessible rooms were able to take my super wide chair and it could get in the bathroom. Staff are very good at supporting people with disabilities.

First time staying in one of the Premier Plus rooms and well worth the few extra bob especially having air con for heating and cooling. Breakfast and dinner over the 3 days we couldn’t fault. Only fault I have is with the dinner service on the 2nd and 3rd night. Server took away our plates and when asked to look at the dessert menu none were brought to us.

Honestly was great. The room was spacious and clean. We’ve stayed in ‘high end’ hotels and this very much exceeded our expectations. Bed was comfy, air con was working and water pressure was great. The only issue we encountered was with the restaurant which seemed empty but wouldn’t accept us as a walk in so instead we went to miller and carter across the road for Sunday lunch! Check in and check out was smooth and easy. Only downside is you have to pay for parking.

Our only problem was having a family with a small child above us. Noise from little footsteps running around till late at night and starting early in the morning. We felt they could have been on the ground floor so as not be heard. Bed very comfy and we had a table in our room! A bug plus. Premier could just do with adding some shelving to unpack your few bits of clothing.

The place was good, the Apple Cart next door wasn't. Waited a while to be seated 5 out of 10, ordered food & drinks 8/10, went to the bar to get another drink before the food arrived only for staff to walk by & not speak so gave up 0/10, food was ok 7/10, paid the bill & the change was almost chucked onto the tray, no acknowledgement 2/10. Stay at the Premier Inn 10/10, but avoid the apple cart.

Aside from the comfy beds and comfortable rooms as usual, the highlight of my stay was the incredible service. After just one night at the hotel, I realized I had accidentally left my charger behind. Being from out of the area, I thought it would be a hassle to sort out—but the receptionist, Pammy Hadley, went above and beyond to track it down and return it to me. I’ve never experienced this level of care and dedication in any hotel. Pammy was not only exceptionally helpful, but also consistently friendly and cheerful throughout our entire stay. A huge thank-you and shoutout to Pammy for making the experience so memorable!

Our room smelt damp and it had a damp feeling to it. Our towels never really dried out properly. The shower leaked from the shower screen, I did report it but nothing came of it. The room size and finish was good, shame it just had this strange smell to it.
